Zoanthus polyps falling from colony
What would cause my orange zoanthus polyps to fall from the colony to the bottom of the tank.
They were doing fine for months, with nice orange centers. About a week ago I noticed the orange centers on some of the polyps were fading out (maybe 8 out of 100 polyps). But even a few of the polyps that fell still have an orange center. Every other coral is fine, fish are fine, inverts are fine, water tested fine (a little nitrate present) I've never had or seen this happen to me. ![]()
