Aerating in order to remove CO2 to bring up pH...
I was just wondering, but could I use the venturi effect on my Millennium 2000 filter (which puts bubbles into the water) in order to bring my pH up?
Whenever I turn it on even for a minute there is alot of popping, and bubbling like fizz in a soft drink... Dont know if that is good or bad but I usually leave it on at least a minute everyday. opinions?

bubbles in a saltwater tank is not usually a good idea, you'll have salt everywhere around the tank eventually, your better off testing your water to make sure everything is in balance eg. magnesium, calcium alk, once those are in order so will your pH
that's funny! Lee just answered another similar post!help me

Re: Aerating in order to remove CO2 to bring up pH...
nvm I was looking at the indoor temp rather than the tank temp therefore it was 80degrees in the tank.
