Well I was REALLY excited about the new growth in my tank of first a feather duster, and then of another unknown anenomie to which I found out was...
Aiptasia puchella anemonie Yea... did the research, and looks like a pepperment shrimp is in my future. So far I have 3 growing... the first pretty mature, the second half as small, and the third hard to see but there. Looks like I have a fight on my hands hopefully they dont spread to much before im able to get my cleanup crew in there. Any advice?

Re: It appears I have Aiptasia!!
you don't have to wait for your clean up crew,in general peppermint shrimp only SOMETIMES bother with aptasia so it's a risky choice.
You can however to to your local drugstore and ask to buy a syringe, not the tiny diabetes one but one with a bigger needle, (yup you'll get a funny look) it will set you back about 50 cents! ![]() When you get home, fill it with lemon juice or joe's juice or kalk paste and inject the stem, squeezing in anywhere from .1 -.3 of a cc into each one. depends on the size of the aptasia. It may take 2-3 times before it dies but if you see it emerge1-2 days later don't wait 'til it's 100% strong again, hit him again while he's down! muHAHAHAHAHA!![]()
