Caulerpa on glass

I have a mat of what looks to be a light green feathery cualerpa on the front of my tank, at first I thought it was hair algae, but it has "branches" like caulerpa. It looks real nice, but I dont want it on my glass. What eats cualerpa? Will the Lawnmower Blenny?

thanks
mark

Lawnmower blennies usually eat microalgae.

Dependant on how large your tank is, a foxface or tangs will eat most greenery.

But, if you want it to be eaten, why not just remove it?

I did, then it came back thicker than ever... the tank is a 30 gal, so I wouldnt want to do the fox face/tang thing... What ever I buy stays in so that wouldnt be good! I have 15 ceriths but I never see more than 3 at a time eating algae..

Is there and hermit that will eat caulerpa? I have a thick jungle of caulerpa growing on the LR, and I cant get anything to eat...

fishkid,
from youre description im think it may in fact be bryopsis.it is "feathery"at the ends grows in clumps and sometimes has a blue sheen to it.it is a nuisance in my reef and nothing i have found will eat it.manual removal is best ,dont let it accumulate as it releases spores in the aquarium that start new fires to put out.hth
