Any one know what these little white creatures are?
Just updated my lighting from a compact hood lamp to a Coralife Aqualight Pro system and after a week i started noticing these white creatures moving around all over the glass. When ever i scrub the glass i get rid of them but they somehow reappear. I hope there not mosquitos and rather some type of good creature for my reef tank. Thanks everyone!

most likely copepods, perfectly fine to have in your tank

Near impossible to say given the photos, but... the outline of one seems distinctive enough for me to harzard a guess at being a munnid isopod. Harmless.

could possibly snail larvae ( astrea ) mine went into a spawing frenzy a couple of weeks ago and i have small 1/8 inch larvae all over the glass they have small quick side to side and forward movements at times and lifeless most the rest of the time
astreas spawn by releasing into the current mine were at the top of the tank for about 40 minutes maybe you have seen it |

They tend to be Copepods if they are swimming around the tank and Amphipods if they are just sitting on the glass, I have two types in my tank, one lot look like tiny shrimps and the other looks like little crabs, both a normal part of the marine eco system. Gobies love to feast on them and so do Midas Blennies.
