How to find the good place for tube anemone

Hi! If you kept tube anemone, can you advice on how to find the suitable place for it?

I have the big pink tube anemone for 7 months, it was tubeless and had grown the new tune, but after changing flow in the tank to suit the corals, it left the tube two days ago and sits now between rocks.

Bristle worms bothered it, it could be the cause too. I don't know efficient methods of bristle worms control, and reducing food for the tank is not an option.

If the leave was caused by flow, how could I know, that the flow is good for it, and it will not leave the place again?

Thanks.

I suspect that it will find the most suitable place on its own.

I would keep an eye on it and see how things go.

Are you sure about that? Can you be more specific? Exactly what did you observe? Did you observe this "bothering" activity in daylight or at nighttime? What exactly do you mean by "bothering?"

I'm not one to believe that bristle worms are in need of control but all three of the dottyback species endemic to the Red Sea are known to eat bristle worms. I had an orchid dottyback (Pseudochromis fridmani) and he did not eliminate my bristle worm population by any means, thank goodness, but he definitely kept it reduced.

Reducing food for the tank is never a good option. You are very wise to recognise this important point that many people missunderstand.

Several bristle worms are living in the bowl with sand, where the tube anemone was before. They crawled around and inside the top layer of the sand, there the tube is buried. Time from time tube anemone partially contracted sharply, human will react this way, if the pin was inserted into the skin. Bristle worms, crawling up to the opening of tube, coming to the live body of tube anemone.
But, of course, I can't give 100% guaranty that these are signs of not a peaceful coexistence of two species

The feeding can't be reduced significantly, because this is non-photosynthetic tank with fine filter feeders and sun corals.

I'll try to find these three dottyback species names, and check, if there could be any side effects (for feather dusters, for example).
I'll keep an eye on anemone, and will leave it where it is for now (and cross my fingers).

Thank you!
