small protein skimmer

I'm setting up a 36 gallon seahorse tank(don't worry, I know what i'm doing with them). The only question I have is if there is a good skimmer for that size tank that anyone knows of.

Re: small protein skimmer

I'm using an Oceanic Nano skimmer in my 36. Obviously not the greatest thing out there, but it works very well. The only problems I have are...

1. The suction cups don't stick very well.
2. Getting the proper placement is a PITA.
3. Figuring out just the right amount of airflow.

Otherwise i was a great $14.98 investment.

Theres the cpr bak pak. I have one on my 29 gal. And bought a second one on ebay for around 70 bucks. Others might tell you the aqua c remora, which I hear is great, but personally have no experience with. Good luck!

The backpack is a good choice. I liked the one I had!!! You don't have to skim to aggressively with horses, do you?
