What you are glueing determines which glue to use. PVC cement for plumbing, methylene chloride for acrylic, Elmers Wood Glue for cabinetry, cyanoacrylate gel for corals, etc.
Whatcha working on?

FWIW, I use crazy glue gel for my frags
Joe
for soft frags, does anybody have a specific crazy glue gel brand, or is that the brand?
I used Future Glue Gel (available at any Home Depot). It worked well, but a tube is only good for a few frags...
Mikeman,
I like to use the LOCTITE super glue gel. I like the applicator that it comes in, and I believe that it has more gel than the standard "super glue gel." I have used this for both soft, and stonies with much success. I find the glue at drug stores, but I am sure there are other sources. HTH.

The key word to look for in super glue is "cyanoacrylate" Any with this base is ok. I too like the gel Loctite brand. It has more in it and sometimes you can CAREFULLY break open the container and get even more out.
As for the softies I never did too well using super glue on them. Xenia and colt slimes up so bad. I like the toothpick method.

yeah but something about sticking a toothpick through a coral seems bad?
thanks
A great method for attaching soft corals is to use fishing line. Thread it through a needle and "sew" it to the rock. Once the coral has attached to the rock you can cut the fishing line and everything will be fine.
