Isn't this cute my little clown goby pair have mated! Of course as mentioned above they will probably become food but at least I finally got to see some eggs!

Who knows, I haven't done a search for goby rearing yet but I doubt it will work out
I will tell you, for a tiny goby she sure is fiesty! I can't put my hand in the tank without a brutal attack! Man she sure can poke!
They're in the 6g pico tank by the way since I can't seem to find what I'm looking for but another reason is they used to be in my 24g cube but I wanted it enpty to use it as a QT for a copperband butterfly.

Unfortunately she didn't make it. was taking a huge gamble by getting her because I knew she wasn't eating at the store but I decided to take a chance. I tried to get her to eat and it was totally impossible, I tried an open clam, live baby brine, frozem mysis, frozen brine, homemade food, flake, you name it I tried it, I even squished food into a rock and she still wanted nothing of it.

I had her about 10 days, looked perfect, no paracites at all. She just got weaker by the day and finally gave up the ship

Too bad about the copperband, but since the gobies are in a tank by themselves, you have a better chance. Time will tell, huh?

I hate losing a fish but she's the first in a really long time now so I guess I won't beat myself up about it too much. I tried everything I could

I'm doing fine now, I was getting crazy bored for a while but for the past few weeks I've been back to my normal routine, I've even done 2 water changes! It feels nice not to have to call on everyone to do my chores

This week I'm babysitting my son's crazy dog (Scottish Terrier) while he's gone to NYC for a 1 week vacation, he's a real handful compared to my old fart yorkies! He's 4 yrs. old and he's still like a puppy, he has no idea how to walk, he has to run from one place to another even if it's only 5 feet away! I think he needs ritalin!

Thats really cool! I just did a quick google search here: JoM Article: Gobies, by Stanley D. Brown and it seems you have a 50% success rate and a 4 day incubation period. woah. The clown gobies are bred commercially, maybe you will be a lucky g'ma.

Thanks Eric, I'll keep an eye out but more than likely they'll be someones snack, especially now that I spotted my tiny 3/4" Griessinger's goby.

We decided today to name him Houdini because I put him in on the 10th of sept. with 6 sexy shrimp, he disappeared right away and today is the first time I saw him since! Mind you he wasn't out in the open either, he was still hiding in the rock work on the back wall but at least I saw him I'm not sure if that justifies spending $80.00 on a teensy weensy fish that you have to look for with a magnifying glass!

Anyways, I took another shot of the eggs, are those dots eyes???
