My first fragging

I fragged my first softie today. To a lot of you it may not be a big deal but to me it was a something to be proud of. I have had a xenia since I got my tank up and running 7 months ago and when I got it it was small but got so big I had to do something so I tried fragging it. So far it looks like a success. I will know more in a few days how it went. The main colony was back to its pulsing in a matter of minutes and the frag was starting to pulse about an hour and a half later. I did this out of the main tank and dumped the water that was in the tub I did the cutting in. I heard this is the way to do it but I have also seen it done in the DT. My lfs said I could bring them in for credit like I do my cheato every few months. Just wanted to mention it. Possible pics to come tommorrow

Congrats dude, I just did my first successful frags a few weeks ago. I fragged some of my zoos, and a mushroom, and they're both doing great. It definitely does give a sense of accomplishment

It is always a great relief to see a recently cut coral open back up.
