Cool little tank! How do you keep the clowns from killing each other? One of my first fish was a maroon clown and I have tried adding two other clowns (at different times) and he had either killed or seriously injured both of them. I even tried taking him out TOTALLY rearranging the tank adding the second one and waiting two days before I put him back in ad he still went after it...and it was almost twice his size!

I really don't like him but I don't have the heart to give him back to the LFS since I have had him the longest.

Gosh,

Thanx for sharing the site. All the years in fishkeeping I've kept a few tomatoes and they've always been bruisers. How big is it now? I'm always afraid to put my hand in my 55 FO tank cuz it's bite packs a surprisingly strong wallop. I hate it when he bites when I'm not looking - makes me just want to slap it upside the head.

it grew bout 1/2inch this year ive had it,its prob 2 inches long now.. its never attacked my hand or anything, one of the percs did once and they gotta grip and pinch hehehe =)

my tomatoe is pretty cool, he'll stir up the sand a lil on the red muahroom rock and tends to chill, every now and then he swims with the other clowns its pretty cool =) I really want a seabae and see if the tomatoe or percs take host to it. =) but i know i dont have room for it, im gonna try and save up some cash for a 65 gal tank that has the overflow built in and has good width and hieght, for the stand, and tank its around 450 but my GF's dad works at one of the LFS and she gets a discount on stuff there so we'll see how much over all the sump, tank lights ect ect are, prob round a grand total, but we'll see =)
I showed soem friends who have never seen the tank b4 since they live back in Maine and Canada and they absolutly think its the coolest thing, This hobby by far is one of my favs!

take care
Skott
