A trip to Kevin's

Hi all- I barely have my left little toe wet in this hobby, but having seen the 600 at Kevin's store twice, it REALLY makes me want to get going on the corals in my 270. I need to get all the basics taken care of first though, then we tackle that idea. The 600 and contents is stunning, my wife has seen it once & curses KevinP cuz I would like a BIGGER tank. The addition to the house is simply cost prohibitive currently. oh well....

Ya, a piece like that is much to precious for the BONE SHEARS! (I would use a dremel with a diamond cutoff wheel. ;) )

That is a beautiful coral, and pics really don't do it justice.

I got me a small frag of the A.tortuosa, maybe an inch long, and it is slowly making some progress. It is an ORA frag that I got locally. I hope it can grow this beautiful some day.

The A. tortuosa is actually darker in person but I can't seem to capture it when shooting just that coral. In this picture you can see the true color a little closer.
