Smile New Photos of 75! Lots of pics!

Well, here it is. I'm still acclimating all of my corals to the new Iwasaki's. But so far so good! I'm really happy with everything so far. The tank has been up without corals since approx. April 5th. I cured 90 lbs of Vanisi from Jeff's Exotic Fish. And let me tell you. After seeing my figi and florida liverock in my 10 gallon when I transferred the contents, I absolutely love my vanisi. It did not have nearly as much coraline. But it is growing very fast and has more colors than just purple. Anyway, I hope my pics work. I promised a few that I would do this. I'm just slow these days getting around to it. And if you're wondering why I have a little bowl in the tank, it's for the loose mushrooms to try and get them to attach to little pieces of rock. There's also a gigantic renegade red mushroom loose in the tank. I'll catch that bugger sooner or later!

Joanne

P.S. These pics do not do the tank justice in person. I can't capture that intense shimmer yet. But it's awesome. And it's wierd how when you take pics from the sides how it darks and changes from the white color it truly is to a more subdued. Oh well. A photographer I'm not!

How do you attach more than one pic in a post? Here's more.

And last one...for now. Sorry I don't know how to post any other way. Perhaps I'll be enlightened!

Very nice pics Joanne!
As for those renegade red mushrooms, WATCH OUT! They'll stop at nothing to usurp the peaceful tranquility of ones' tank

Sorry to say this Joanne but looks like your going to have to tear down the whole set up and send it straight to me... nope I'm sorry I can't see any other way around it
Seriously though nice tank! Watch out for those renegade shrooms they may look peaceful but you'll never know when they will attack!
Great job! I like the caves a lot!

Smile Thank you all so much!

Thank you all SO much. Your kind words mean a lot to me considering you folks have helped me so much and guided me in the right direction from the very beginning! I am using 2-250 watt Iwasaki's and 80 watts of NO actinic lighting, chromis. If you'd like to see the tank with and without the actinics on, just click on my website and it shows the comparison. I did a DIY ballast setup and I think that makes the difference. Both Iwasaki's are on MV ballasts.

Wow. There were times when I was thinking that all this would be in vain and I was just wasting my time. It's so rewarding now that it's all together and I can see the outcome. I only hope to have continued long term success. I think that my experience and success with the 10 gallon nano will aid me in keeping this tank going. It's SUCH a relief not to worry so much about any little thing happening and crashing the tank. And finally, gone are those weekly water changes! That, in itself, is reward enough.

Seriously, thank you so much. You brightened my week.

Joanne

Really, really, nice. Joanne. Good Job. I am sure it must feel great, just to sit back now and watch.

Very nice! I checked out your web site too. Good pics of your ballasts, and I like the remote installation. Where did you get your hood and Iwasakis?
