As far as making it back that way, the wife and I have been seriously discussing moving out to ID, we having been looking at the boise area as well as farther north, like around Lake Cour'de lene(spelling oops)

regarding the cpr overflows, should I go on size up, the smallest is rated for 60 gal tanks @ 300gph, or would the one rated at 125 gal @ 600 gph, the pump is not an issue as I would purchase what is needed.
Well this thread is off to a booming start! Only problem, I don't see any pictures!
As for the overflow, I would get the one rated @ 600 gph for sure! It is always better to have an overflow that can handle a couple hundred gallons MORE then what your return pump will be pushing into the tank. I also have a CPR model, and it works great, mine is rated for 1200gph, it has 2 1" drains, but I combined them into a single 1.5" to make it easier to get the flow into the basement.
Sorry, had to take a trip to the dump and then a triptifan break now I need a nap.
As far as the lites go, if you can find a 6 bulb T5 fixture that will fit, I'd say go for it. Start slow with some softies and get yourself used to maintaining the system. You can always get the softies out, but I gotta warn ya, if you get some wavy type softies, you might as well get another tank, cause the ladies love the wavy stuff!!!!! That and the fact that if you start mixing the softies with the hard corals, you can run into some issues, because most softies are pretty toxic, and hard corals don't need that crap.
I agree with Mike as far as the overflow goes, the more flow the merrier, but you are dealing with a sps freak here.
If you are thinking of Couer D'alene bring your wallet, it is a tourist trap!!!!!

Both of those LPS will have have some problems with the toxicity of certain softies. The torch is also the most temperamental of the Euphyllia species, a great coral, don't get me wrong. Give it plenty of room it can be nasty!!! I like the bubble coral.
Do a search on the toxic effect of soft corals on LPS and SPS!!!
