I have a mushroom that I just bought about 1 month ago, there's about four 4" shrooms living on this flat rock. It's got green tips on it. The LFS says it's a hairy mushroom but from the pictures Iv'e been looking at, it looks more like a mushroom anemone (Rhodactis?) Anyways,a day ago I found a little disk (about the size of a penny) on the substrate 6" away, it looked like a mushroom...could this be a baby mushroom?

I believe Hairy Mushrooms and Mushroom anemone are the same animal. Just two different common names. Mushrooms are quite prolific. If that is a mushroom on the substrait it sure is growing fast.
