I think I have a Mantis Shrimp...
When I was watching my clowns playing today I heard a loud "POP" in the tank. Also, every now and then I wake up to find some of my LR has fallen to the bottom,secure rock that is...If it is a mantis,how do I get the bast$#! out! About 2 months ago somthing beat the snot out of my female Clarkie,gave her a pop eye and a scrape on her side,and shes a big girl! She pulled through allright but I never could figure out what caused it. Maybe a mantis...?

Well firefish, I can help you with this one! I had the same problem in my tank. I caught a total of five! Yes five out of my tank. I caught two with an Xterminator trap, I also tried the plastic pop bottle trap but I did not catch any with this trap. (cut the top off a plastic pop bottle and invert it back into the bottom piece) The other way I caught the last three was to find out what rock they hang out in take the rock out and do a high salinity dip and they will come right out. (1.30 salinity)It takes time they are smart little bastards.
