Need help with corals

I just bought some hairy mushroom corals today and when I got home they were all closed up...After putting them in my tank they have opened up a little bit, but not really as much as they had been in the store when i bought them. Do they just take a while to get acclimated before they open up fully? Any info/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, mushrooms may take a while to settle in. I wouldn't be concerned at all at this stage.

Thanks for the info, i was just kind of concerned because it was my first coral purchase. It is now the next day though and they look much better and are just about fully opened.

As soon as they get acclimated they will grow like weeds

I second UTCreefter, mushrooms where also my first coral purchase, bought a clam shell with 8 mushrooms, I now have more than 20. Happy shrooming

Yep. I had to remove almost half of my live rock just to get rid of them when I was switching to "sps" keeping. They just took over...

Just added 2 shrooms to my tank. A green one and a blue/purple one.

Thanks for the info everybody, i was just worried when i saw they were all closed up, they look great now though...here is a picture.
