    Live rock pics

I was looking at my live rock today and thought I would post a few pics of it. If anyone else wants to post I would like to see what your live rock looks like, colors, sponges, things like that not the usual coral type photo. Here are a couple of pics to show what I mean.

I have some pics of my rock when I bought it 5 years ago. It is Kaelini. I don't know if this is what you mean, but here goes anyways.

Well, I've got the normal stuff:

    and the green stuff:

Actually, it's green with some really ugly dark red, probably will turn purple (I like the green though):

    Re: Live rock pics

Thanks for the pics Charlie and tholleyh46. I like looking at the colrs and small little stuff on live rock that seems to go unnoticed by most people that look into a tank. It seems the more you peer into a tank and really look at the rock the more you notice all the different life that is really there. Anyone else really look at their rock? If you have some pics, post 'em.

I guess I will try to get some pics of that rock in the tank. I didn't quite know what you meant, but it finally sunk in.

I guess it was about 3 months ago I was looking in the tank. Thinking where in the world were those micro stars that I added 2 months prior... then poof! There one was! And another, and another...

It is under submit reply, called manage attachments. Click that and find the file where you keep your pics on your PC, and go from there. HTH

    Thanks,

Never woulda figured that out - kinda tech slow. It took me about a year to figure out why when my cell phone made a noise and I picked it up and said hello, nobody was talking. Then it said I had a message, and I kept calling voice mail but no messages. Finally my teenager straightened me out. Text messages; those really kicked my butt!

I don't feel so bad now. At least I am not the only one who seems tech challenged at times.

I dont even have a cell phone anymore. I had one that was given to me by my employer and they paid the bill and the Tues the 13th of Jan I got called into the office and was laid off due to lack of work, so long cell phone. Now that I think about it the two things I miss most about that job is the insurance and the free cell phone. I got to get another one, not job...a cell phone.
