Could be zoo eating nudibranchs. I had them a few years ago. The nudibranchs are really tiny and take on the color of what they're eating. I could really only see them at night- I used a flashlight to help me focus the camera to get these shots:

I noticed one of my zoas looking like this earlier today. Does anyone have a guess as to what may be going on? Could it be water related? If so I could post my params as I just did a test on Friday. The one in question is the one that is missing part of the one side.

Thanks Greg, that was my first thought and have been looking everynight for those. I had a few before and picked them out with some tweezers but havent seen any for a long time. Those are great pictures of the little buggers.

Thanks Nate. I was shocked when I saw how bad the infestation was in the pics. Egg coils too- they were all over the place. I tried freshwater dipping and an Arrow Crab. Eventually they went away but it took quite a while. If you have a camera with a macro function try using a flashlight to help the camera focus and take a picture with a flash. Doesn't have to be a super sharp picture to see if the buggers are still in there.
