anyone????? plz......am not sure if i have to change water in my tank .. if these happen to be eggs of one of the tank mates, I would be interested in investigating and understanding what makes these......plz...
Sashi,
I have no idea what they are. Are they hard to the touch? Exactly what size are we talking about?
I'll ask a couple of other guys to take a look.

HI Ninong,
this looks exactly like the brine shrimp eggs (before hatching) in color & size and they are not hard..

I'm glad I asked you to post the size. I would have thought from the picture that they were much, much bigger than brine shrimp eggs. Anyway, I'm still not really sure but I don't think you have anything to be concerned about.
Let's wait to see what others think.

I looked earlier. Have no idea but I'm new to saltwater.
Does it appear to be one shell or multiple shells?
definitely multiple....
Hello,
Are you able to remove them and place them in a white bowl then take a picture? I cannot tell anything from the tank picture you posted.
Cheers,

I was going to comment on this last night but my ISP connection broke off suddenly and was lost for the night.
Anyway, like kevinpo and Ninong mentioned already it is hard to tell what these may be. A better image would definitely help, especially if you couuld isolate few of them in a shallow dish with water, then take a close up/macro shot of it.
Without better image it is hard to even speculate what these things might be.
Kind regards,
Gene.

It looks like it's pearly white and shiny, right? Is it the same color on both sides? It looks very thin. Is it soft and pliable?
In other words, it's not anything that is somewhat hard, like foraminiferans or anything like that.
And it shows up floating on top of the water's surface every four to five weeks. Sort of like tiny hatched egg shells. Maybe that's what it is. Tiny hatched egg shells. From what?
