About LinkBacksTonight while working in the tank a bunch of critters appeared on the surface and kept zooming around fast in figure 8 type patterns. Couple hundred of them about 1mm-2mm in size. My bro thinks they are small shrimp. I don't think so but maybe a juvenile form of them.
Any ideas? I'll try to get a pic but they are zippity fast.
Fish were hungry but weren't at all interested in them. Not sure if that means anything.

Surface Critters
55g Tank born Dec 25 08 w/ Topfin60, 2 Koralia 3's, Typhoon5 RO/DI.
Fish: Red Fairy Wrasse, Diamond Gobby, Royal Gramma, 2 Percola Clowns.
Inverts: Coco worm, 2 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, Fire Shrimp, 3 Blue Hermits, Red Hermit, Emerald Crab, Sally Lightfoot Crab, Mexican Turbo, 11 Ceriths, 6 Black Turbos, 10 Nassarius, Bumble Bee, Astrea.
Corals: Frogspawn, 3 Mushroom, Australian Acan, Blastomussa, Zoanthid, Red & Orange Carnation, Blue Tree Fan.
