Your brain frag reminds me of mine, however the feelers on mine are shorter and fatter and not so many out at once, does that sound healthy?

    Re: Good morning

i should have said i've never seen them extend out that far, normaly they are between 1/4-1/2 inch, this was intereting as i have it rather close to a trumpet LPS and after realizing they can extend that far out i going to move it.

Well, there you go, Tim. Proximity of other species of coral brought out those sweeping tentacles. Other Favia species also produce this sweepers and should be kept with plenty of empty space around them. I have a pic in my gallery somewhere showing sweepers as long as 3" on the same coral.

PS. Caulastrea (trumpet) can produce sweepers as well, so be watchfull and act quickly if you need to move either of this corals.
    Kind regards,

    Gene.

    Re: Good morning

sound advice zhenya, in a 24 inch long tank with a frogspawn and hammer coral that can extend up to 6 inches, placement has been fun

The thing about this is that they usually always send out the sweepers to sting at night when you are sleeping.

So by morning it is to late the battle had already started.
