OOOOOHH, the sand is so white!!!!!!!![]()
I've drilled quite a few rocks for another tank. I used a masonry bit and only drilled about 3/4" deep, just deep enough for a plug to sit in. I'll try a few holes on a couple of the more massive rocks I have in the tank, and see how it goes.
Here's a few pics, along the front sand bed, from left to right.
There's still some sand floating around, so please ignore the sand that's settled on a few of the corals. I'll get in there and blow it off once the floating sand settles.
Also, some of the Zoanthids are still closed up, because they were just moved. Still have plenty more to move, before I can call it a day...lol. I'm taking it much slower today though.

so how much to ship the frags to me?
Hey Michael, do you remember that little stag that sits on the left hand side of the galaxea? I am thinking that you would want that, are you interested? It just isn't getting what it deserves in my tank, and if I were that frag, I would want to get the hell away from that thing with the 6" sweepers, what do you think?

Nope, not at all!!
A couple new arrivals that came direct from Hawaii, via Les at WPH. They arrived bright and early this morning, and are already chowing down!!
The first is a Lavender Tang that was kind of an impulse buy, one of those, "You're already placing an order, the price is awesome...so add it to the order," things.
The second is a 4 Lined Wrasse. I've wanted 1 for 3 years now. Barbie has been watching her list for one forever, Kevin has watched for me as well. No luck!!
So, I PMd Les about it, or posted about it or something....lol. Finally, he had one on his list AND at a great price!!!
Another couple here in Spokane, also ordered a few things, so Les was generous enough to send them together.
The 4 Lined Wrasse is already hunting and pecking at the rocks and will be joined by a 6 Lined Wrasse in the near future. The Lavender Tang is already gobbling down algae sheets, like a lil' piggy. It and the Scribbled Rabbit have been buddying around the tank together. I'll be adding a Purple Tang, this evening, that's been in the 46 for about a week, awaiting the arrival of the Lavender Tang. I didn't want the Purple Tang to have a week to establish any territory, before adding the Lavender Tang.

Parrothead, sorry for the delay in response!! I just noticed your question. The lighting above the 75 was a 6 bulb Tek 5, T5HO fixture. That fixture is currently over the 200 and will soon be joined by a 4 bulb Tek5 fixture.
6 of the 10 fish in our tank LOVE algae. I thought I'd take some pics of a feeding, thought it's much better to see in person. I kept the focus on the algae, so in some of the pictures, some fish may be out of focus. This was easier than attempting to focus on individual fish as they dash in and out...lol.
When the algae first goes in the tank, the first few bites release tons of air bubbles, so sorry for the bubbles. Then there's lots of specks of algae floating around, distracting the rest of the pictures too...lol.

Here, you can see all 6.
Most fish in this picture are out of focus...but for some reason, I really like it.
Check out those chompers.
