Post Newbie Kindof, Moving tank tomorrow to new home

Hi all I am new here and new to reef tanks. I have had a saltwater tank Fish only set up for several years but always wanted to do a Reef tank. We just bought a 120 tall tank last week. We have been researching and preparing to move the tank tomorrow. The tank is a fish only right now and comes with everything Live Rock Fish ect. We have a new stand ready and in place, built a sump/refugium for it, we have 45 gallons of saltwater mixed up and ready to go, 4 bags of sand (may not need all of it) We have a new cooler cleaned out, for the fish to ride home in, large buckets to put the LR in with water covering them, and more buckets to move the water from the existing set up in. We were thinking we would only use about 60 gallons of the old water. We want to set this up to become a reef tank, we have the right lighting, everything else Protin Skimmer Return Pump ect come with the tank. We are open to any suggestions as we are excited and scared about the short move tomorrow about a 30 min drive.

im a bit worried about this predicament, you have not cycled the water in the new set up? or you are bringing 60 gallons over to put the fish in and then slowly adding fresh ro/di salt mixed water?

it sounds like you are going to have at minimum a mini cycle, the fish may be in for a ride. i hope all goes well for you!

Do you think we should bring more of the water? The other keeper had a really bad set up, about a 6" crushed coral bed, bio balls full in the overflow and in the wet dry. The system is only about 7 moths old.
