Snail ID?

Ok so i know in the last batch of live rock i got a banded or tiger brittle star that is no bigger than a nickle, But today my bf found a snail and i have no clue what it is. It is tan and in the middle of the pictures. Only about 1/3 of an inch long

Looking at the second picture, is the snail withdrawn? In other words, does it's foot ever extend out behind the shell a lot?

It's really difficult to say anything about what it might be without knowing what the head looks like and what the foot looks like. What I would really like to know is whether the total exposed length of the snail is twice as long as it appears in the photo. I hesitate to say it might be Stomatella varia without seeing the head and the foot, and with the foot extending quite a bit behind the shell.

Based on those pictures, I really can't pin it down to anything right now. If the snail were to climb on the front glass of the aquarium so that you could take a picture from beneath it, that would definitely help to ID it as either a Stomatella or not. They are very distinctive when pictured from below.

Took the picture to the LFS and one girl who loves stomatella varia says that is what it is. The foot extends alot behind the snail and the snail is rather flat.
