So I take it that this was all a joke? Right?
Or do you just like to ignore the advice of people who know more about the creature in question? Your tank buddy, do what you want... Mark

LOL!
You were given two good replies in your other thread and chose to ignore that advice. Sea Apples have a very bad habit of killing off tanks whether injured or not. The fact that you put it back in the tank after knowing the risk and even on the same day as the injury tells me that either you don't really care or this is all a joke. Don't you worry... I am not going anywhere. Mark

Marks the fact is, is that it was not the same day of the injury and the fact it you dont have to worry about if I kept the apple or not!!!!All I wanted to know is how soon after the injury can it be replaced into the tank. I found my answer . That has nothing to do with you telling me if I should keep the apple or not! I think you should be a little more respecfull and not even answer my post if you dont have anything nice to say. Oceanreef!!!!!

Remember that it doesn't have to actually die to wipe out the tank, although that would certainly be a threatening situation. Make sure that its feeding tentacles are extended and that it is feeding normally. Make sure that you do not have any fish or crabs in the tank that might pick on its feeding tentacles as this could cause it to puke its guts with very serious consequences for your tank. You should make certain that there are no intakes or anything else that it might injure itself on and no pushy roommates to annoy it. Another point to remember once it's mature enough to spawn is that the eggs are toxic to any fish that eats them. I'm not saying they can't be kept in a reef tank, only that doing so involves a high level of risk which should be seriously considered. Ninong ![]()
