i bought a carpet last weekend and the current moved it to the side of my tank under some lr. should i leave it there or try to move it for more lighting(440w vho). it is eating every time i feed every other day or should i feed it every day? my concern is it varies in size all the time but looks healthy. thanks

I think the carpet is just trying to find a good place to settle itself in the new envirorment, if it wants to move it will. I think that if you think the current is too strong adjust it and maybe your carpet will come out of hiding once the current has gone down. From what I remember carpets do not like strong current, they prefer medium current, correct me if I'm wrong. So I'd say adjust your powerheads or whatever so that there is no direct curre3nt blowing at the anenome, that should aleviate the problem. HTH

I have a green carpet anemone. He moved himself to a cave out of the light when I first got him. After a month I thought he was not getting enough light so I moved the rocks and he started moving around. Took him another two months to settle down and he has picked a place which is not too bringtly lit. He is partly in a cave. They seem to find the most comfortable place. Don't move him it only unsettles them. I feed mine every 2-3 days.
