capnella
Hello,
Does anyone have any information on capnella as to lighting, water movement, feeding and etc. Are they a hardy coral for a newbie? How large do they get? Thanks again |

I love them. I have only had captive bred/frags, but they have been very hardy and rather hard to kill.
mine do better in high flow, low lighting conditions. Guess they could get as big as you let them. Don't really feed mine. I guess it lives off what is in the water column in my tanks. They do seem to grow better with slightly higher salinity (1.26-1.28 seems about right). Fragging is very easy, cut off a branch and chop it up into 1/4 inch pieces. Spread the pieces over some med sized broken shells or small hunks of LR, they will attach and start growing in about 2 weeks.

Thanks for the info. I'll start to frag them once they get bigger.
