Clowns
well I can't see a very notable difference in my percs, but they act just like a mated pair of clowns, rubbing around, going diangle(sp) and shivering, one is bigger than the other, but not very much, so I ask this, how big is the difference in sex of False and True percs, because I don't know which kind I have(stupid lfs)

Mike - If I'm not mistaken the female is always larger than the male. I also had a mated pair that had spawned several times. Just a couple of weeks ago the male commited suicide. We had a bad storm and the lights flickerd and I think it scared him. Anyway, I just replaced him and the female was battering him at first, but now she seems to be coming around. HTH's

at first they just rub and act like a pair, then one gets noticably bigger, which in the case of my clowns was like 1.5 x bigger!

mikeman im not sure if your asking is if a false percula (amphiprion ocelleris) and a true percula (amphiprion percula) will breed togeather, if that is your question then ill go ahead and answer that which is yes they can breed togeather and have offspring, now im not sure if those offspring will be fertile but i know they can and will breed.
