    Good corals for my tank

This is going to be my first salt tank and I have done quite a lot of reading into various corals but im still a bit weary of what I can go with.

    This will be 75g
    2x54w actinics T5HO, 2x54w 12k T5HO=216w for a total of 2.8wpg
    2 850gph koralia powerheads
    Marineland c360 canister filter
Aqua C remora with maxijet 1200 pump

So after looking at all that the major area I feel I am lacking is in the lighting dept. The thing is that right now thats all I can afford for lighting. Right now I don't plan on any corals that need strong lights because obviously I don't have the lighting for it. What corals can do well though with that lighting?

You are a little low on the lighting. Stick with softies and after the tank has been running for at least six months, you can try some low light requirement, lps at the top of the tank.

I think you will be surprised at how good those T5 lites are. I don't think you will have to put lps at the top.

Re: Good corals for my tank

Thats all I have been doing is researching for the past I don't know how many weeks. I am ready to atleast get this tank going. Im just down to buying the RO unit, sand and rock and then everything for quarantine when it comes time to add fish. I think I have done pretty well so far in the searching and planning.

Heres what its looking like so far, so much potential.
