Exclamation ***my Coral Is Dying I Need Help***

HELP my coral is dying about two days ago iI noticed that my coral was covered in some weird white stuff. I thought it was just salt but when I tried to blow it away nothing happened. I don't even now exactly what coral it is all Iknow is that it is probably a THIN FINGER LEATHER CORAL because it already shed it's mucus coat. !!!PLEASE HELP!!!

How long have you had this coral?

Leathers do tend to shed a mucous layer every now and then, so it should be OK. The pics aren't real good so it is hard to tell what kind of shape the coral is actually in. Do a little searching around on leathers, and you can find a whole load of useful info. Would there be something close to it that is causing it to shed?

There is nothing close to it beside a candy cane coral. And its not mucus its all white like if undisolved salt was left on top of it.

If it is dying, I do believe you should remove it then.
