Question Bak Pak Users please help me

I purchased the bubble trap for my Pak Pak 2 , and have no idea where it goes or how it works. I checked the CPR website and it doesn't have any instructions, or a picture of it in place. Before I e-mail CPR, I thought I would seek the wisdom of fellow reefers.

they make two different kinds, did you buy the clear one that has pieces of acrylic in a slanting pattern? If so it goes where your bio-bale is. You have to remove the biobale.

If you bought the black box with a sponge at the bottom it goes in your tank and the return elbow from your bakpak slips inside this. It's a perfect fit so the pressure holds it on.

Good luck.

I've got 3 backpacks but no bubble traps. Sorry I can't help, but their customer service guy is quite helpful, so why not go to the source?
