yeah, that would work better im sure. i do have a better idea though. this weekend im going to do a fowlr in the bedroom for the hippo, maroon and blue devil. that way, i can feed without any worries those fish are pia's and just annoy me. it will be just live rock and a place to throw my xenia. itll suck catching them but in the long run, ill be alot happier. then i can add some gobies or a small school of anthias
Clear some space in your mail box, I can't reply to your last pm till you do, cough up the 10 to support reeflands, you get a bigger mailbox, and you can have a pic by your name![]()

The more I hear about the maroon the more I like him.I'm beginning to think all the fish in my reef are a pita one way or another, the cleaner shrimp too.If it wasn't for the importance of fish I wouldn't get any more after mine expire. You don't have to have fish but they do benefit the corals. Is that a photo of your son and daughter.![]()
heres a top shot of the acro...this time it looks darker than it is

Now we know what color it is,once it acclimates and gains color it will be a fine addition.
Looks much better from the top, that's weird that it shows up bleached from the front, but I guess thats a play of lights and the camera phone

my light and bulbs should be here any day now. the viper i got for the 20 will be here around the weekend. im anxious to see what the bulbs and light do for the tank. i ended up ordering some xtras just in case i dont like the mix. i plan to change out 1 bulb per day and run the new light gradually building up to match the other...is that the right way?
I'd go alittle longer in between the bulb swap, give the creatures time to adjust, somethings don't like alot of change all at once or often, check with charlie and/or zhenya

will do....i got a nice assortment of bulbs since i got so many different opinions...right now, to the eye my tank is crisp and clear but not alot of pop...between the giesman, ati, uvl and ge bulbs...i think ill have it coveredi did go a little overboard on hte order but figure ill have replacement bulbs for the future. the part that will be a pia is only changing out 1 bulb at a time till they are all replaced and then figuring out which bulb set up i like...i do know ill be using the blue+ and fiji but not sure on the ge 6500, or the 12 and 10k bulbs or the aquablue...i cant remember the other one i got... another type of fiji color i think...
