im also new but have been setup a few months. i noticed, you got a crab with your liverock also. ive never been able to nab mine to return to the LFS, how did you snag yours? all i do is catch one of my shrimp....
Make this out of a plastic water bottle. Smoothist one you can find. Cut the top off, flip it over to make kind of a one way entry. Bait it with shrimp, set it up-right or lean against Joe crabs favorite rock and watch. You can use fishing line to hold it together and also to retreive it.
Kind of fun.
Chas,
Your tank looks really great so far. It's nice to see that you have done so much research before getting started. I sure wish I had done the same thing. Reefland is a great place to learn. If you ask a question, you are likely to get different answers from different people. You just need to take what works for you. Looks like you are on the right track. We look forward to watching your progress through lots of pictures!
Cynthia
