We need a coral chart - what can touch what!!!
My tank is starting to look pretty good with corals and fish. What I, and others( I think), need is a quick ref. chart that we can use to know what corals can touch which coral, i.e. leather/ hammer, frogspawn/bubble, mushroom/?, xenia/?, etc. Is there such a thing out there?

a good rule of thumb.....anything with sweepers like hammers, bubbles, etc....dont let them touch anything .....make sure you always give ample room for all of your corals to reach full growth and be able to fit in your tank comfortably that way you arent trying to move stuff when it out grows the space provide or worse yet waking up some morning to find a coral gettin stung by a coral too close....corals like xenia and colts and leathers are easy to please but make sure to leave room for growth

Thanks fishguy, I'll remember the sweeper stingers. Does that mean a hammer can touch a hammer and all other corals respectively? These corals might share the same commom name, but differ in color and shape slightly - i.e. mushrooms, leathers, etc.

All of the euphyllia genus can tolerate each other. Being that frogspawns and hammers can touch, as well as torches. But i dimly recall the torches being somewhat less tolerant of this rule meaning they would survive but not fully thrive in contact with other corals of the same genus.
