    Re: The McKay build thread.

I got off my lazy butt, and cleaned the glass last night. Here shortly I'll be
    doing a 20% water change,8gal.I have 34gal.in tank and 6gal.in sump.I'm going
to pull the plug on the return pump and push the water into the overflow until
I have about 10gal.in the sump. Then I'll just pump out 8gal.and put in the 8gal.
of new mixed water. Then I'll start everything wait a few minutes, then add enough
water to the sump so that next time All I have to do is pump it out and add new.
    Comments on Deltec AP600 Skimmer,please.

I pay for the not shopping with the wife part, but all it takes is a trip through the naughty section and she tells me to go find something to do, usually cost more, but sometimes it's worth it. Cool about being a gamer, I remember the olde days of feeding a roll of quaters into asteroids and blowing the whole friday night, PC wise, I'm a big fan of age of empires, old school I know but still an awesome game. I will def. look into the ps3, I know it will play dvds and blu-ray, is the blu-ray straight out of the box or do you have to buy add ons for that cap.

It plays Blu-ray straight out of the box,not only that you can browse the internet, play cds, transfer files back and fourth from pc and a lot more.I just use it for games, even though I have a 32"flat screen HDTV I usually watch movies on my 22"pc monitor.

cool beans, might have to sell the wife and the cats, gotta keep the kids, need them for my old age, can't do a ps3 and the tank at the sametime right now. Decisions, Decisions.

I'm running a 42" sony Grand Wega, rear projection lcd, built in hd, it's an 06 but still rocks, only weighs 60 lbs, has port for hdmi, pc, dvi and enough component and rca jacks to make coffee in the morning if I could figure out how to wire the coffee maker to it, that'd be interesting with the ps3 on that size screen.

I looked at that,it's a in sump I don't have the room.I've been thinking about a real sump
but don't have a lot of room for that either.I'm trying to figure out how to add a refugium too.

I'll look for a bigger sump,I can probably get one and that skimmer for less than 600.I know it's a good skimmer if you recommend it.

Give them a call and see if it will do the job for you Steve, I am pretty sure it is a nice skimmer, but you are the one who is gonna use the thing.

Yea,I'm looking at Eshopps sumps now trying to figure out which one the 200 or 300.The 300 has dual inlets don't need that but could prove useful later.
