    Question :)

I have a hammer and a frogspawn in my 35gal tank (am trying to collect lps from the same family).

The look great when the lights are on, blooming and all.

My question is, is it normal for them to shrivel down when the lights are off?

My initial instinct is that the water parms must be off when the lights are off. I've checked it and all are consistent within the given parms.

    TIA!

    Re: Question :)

Same thing happens with my Green Bubble tip Anemone. Ever other day or so ill wake up to find him in a tiny little ball, turn the lights on, 45mins later he's puffed up and taking up all the room in my tank. IDK why it does it or what the reasonings are, but every morning im hoping that wasnt 65 bucks down the drain xD My LFS says its normal so im just going with it.

Yours should be alright too, ive had mine for about a month now so you shouldnt worry too much. Hope this helps!!

    Re: Question :)

The LPS such as hammers, frogspawns, torchs, etc. shrink when the lights goes out. perfectly normal.
