Question Bennetts Puffer in a Reef?

So it is almost time for me to begin to stock my newly set-up 55 gallon tank which i am hoping to slowly turn into a reef aquarium. I have been thinking of my stocking list a lot lately and one of my main concerns is my Bennetts toby that i have in a 15 gallon tank right now. He is so personable and comical that i dont want to part with him but he is not suited for a 15 and i am not sure if he is suited for a reef. He lives in harmony as of now in the 15 with a peppermint shrimp and 2 damsels neither of which he has ever once nipped or attacked. Coral is nowhere near in his natural diet so im not too worried about him eating coral. What i am worried about is if he will make a feast out of my clean up crew. He has never bothered any of the hermits in his current location or the shrimp. I know no one will have a definite answer for me but if he is not showing aggression towards any of my inverts in small quarters what are the chances he will want to feast on them in larger quarters? also anybody ever try a toby in a reef set up? any and all opinions are greatly appreciated.

Not an expert on compatiblity here by any means but I have yet to see a puffer-fish that's considered 100% reef safe. That said, he should be easy enough to catch if things don't work out so why not give it a shot?

yeah i feel you on that. i think it will be inevitable that there will be some casualties down the road from him but i am going to try him out in it and hope for the best. hopefully a good diet will keep him from making a meal out of my inverts. if he does begin to wreak havoc i will pull him out.
