In the first photo it appears that it might be a colony of Aiptasia,a pest anemone.A better photo would help identify. In the second photo,my best guess would be a ball sponge of some kind.If it wasn't for the fuzzy appearance and possible oral opening I might guess it to be a Collonista Snail if it is a mover. You offer little info.

I don't think the first pic is of Aiptasia, but some kind of tube anemone...don't know the type off hand, but are still considered pests.

Do they have a calcareous tube,if they don't there not tube anemones. If you could provide a better photo it would help.

Since they look small, let me guess. You have added new LR recently and they are spreading fairly rapidly,if you did and they are.More than likely they are Aiptasia a tropical sea anemone (pest).

the tank has been set up for about 4 months and have not added any live rock since i first started the tank. i noticed the brown little thing a week ago and they have not moved.so if it is a pest what should i do with it and how should i go about it?

First I'm talking about photo one,the top one.A better photo would help considerably,I can barely see them.I'm talking about the objects that are just right of center. They look like Aiptasia, that would be my first guess because your LR looks new.I see no amount of coralline algae. They could also be Zoanthids see this link. 4X4 SUPER BRIGHT NEON YELLWO VERY NICE NEON POLYP ROCK: Extreme Corals These are only guesses based on what I can see,if possible provide a better photo like photo 2 bottom one.As far as photo 2,my best guess would be a ball sponge,I was just saying that if it wasn't fuzzy and it moved it could be a Collonista Snail,I have them and the resemblance is remarkable but I don't think that's what it is.If you say it does not move,it is definitely
not a snail. If you provide a better photo of the top objects,I will look at them later today and try to identify them.

PS,don't get rid of them before you know what they are, most things are beneficial. If they are zoanthids congratulations people pay for those.
