Clown Fish Identification???

Hi All,
I have been keeping a Clown Fish now for a bout a year now and i dont know what sort of Clown fish it is? Im thinking of buying another to pair it up. I'd like to find out if it is an Ocelaris Clown or a Perculia Clown.... How do i know the difference?

The most obvious difference between Amphiprion percula and A. ocellaris is that A. percula usually have thicker black margins on the white bands. Also, there is a difference in the number of dorsal spines and pectoral rays. Percula clownfish usually have 9 or 10 dorsal spines, Ocellaris clownfish usually have 11. There is a difference in the number of pectoral rays, too, but I don't remember it offhand and I'm too lazy to look it up.

The best way to count the dorsal spines is to take a clear, in-focus photo of the clownfish with its dorsal fin fully extended. Then you blow up the image and count the spines. Or just post it and we'll get someone with good eyesight to count them. I don't have good eyesight right now.

The photo you posted in your opening post is nowhere near good enough for identification purposes.
