OK, so I've finally got the return flow about where I want it. I just ended up plumbing 3/4'' straight through the upper bulkheads for the outside returns and ended up scrapping the eductors on the middle returns as they restricted the flow too much.

I also rebuilt my durso standpipe and it drains much better. I've got a couple of drips to seal up but other than that, the plumbing is done!!!

I'll post some tank pics later today.

hey man, i heard it all. it was a gift certificate for a lifetime detail. once it was done he would never have to wash or wax his car again. and i remember something about his car flying through the air because of the car being so smooth and slick. i just dont know how you're gonna install the nano tank in his back seat. that is the only part that i question

I think your doctor lied to you, you had better get a second opinion, your head injury is way worse than they thought

Thanks for the help with the gift cert too... I'll have to get the design firmed out on that nano tank once the 180 is up and running.

Well, the drips are all sealed up, tap water drained, tank cleaned, filling with RO water now and is about half full so a couple more days of the drips and I'll be dumping some salt in!!! Finally!!!

Now it's on to canopy fab and rock structure. Trying to decide whether I want to build some kind of support out of pvc for my rock. Played around with some 3/4'' last night and really didn't like anything I came up with too much. The closest I got to being satisfies was with a little pvc tower... I would have to have 3 or 4 though to make it work and I think it would be all but impossible to hide all of the pvc with the rock so as of now I'm leaning towards the old tried and true stacking with zip-ties method.

Any thoughts or suggestions???

You could use PVC just for the foundation to hold the display rock even with the top of the sand bed.I decided against that idea because I wanted the all the biofiltration I could get,I knew rock would be better than pipe.Also I wasn't to comfortable about the pipe deal in the first place.I think using rock is expensive but better.
