Cloudy water

I just added about 200 lbs of HD sand and 60 gallons of water to my new tank. The water is extremely cloudy. Will this clear up once the system starts to run or is there something I should do to help it out? I have to add another 120 gallons before I can fire the main system up. Right now I have a Fluval filter and a powerhead in to keep things moving. Thanks, Bill

Yup, it'll clear, give it some time, add all of the water first, though, it won't clear until you get that in (or if it does, it'll cloud as soon as you add the rest, then clear up)
