    Reef battleground! -Cyano-

    Hi!
I have a slimy problem in my aquarium... Yes it is cyano bact.
What I have read the most efficient way to battle cyano is complete darkness and no feeding.
Im planning to go away for 5 days during the holidays... and thinking of cutting all lights and food during this time.
The question is: Is this a good idea? Will my fish / corals die?
Right now I have a couple of leather corals, 2 clown fish (Amphiprion ocellaris and clarkii), a big green carpet anemone and one Pseudochromis paccagnellae.
+lots of other less important things living on the live rock.

    /Thanks for all answers!

I had red cyano and two clowns, i reached in the tank with my hand and rubbed it all loose so it was floating about the tank, created as much flow as i could and killed the lights for 6 days, fish were fine i fed them just once a day a very little, ricordia florida corals (anemones) were fine as well, just check them if you can every other day or so
