Well done! You will like those true percs. My pair love cyclopeez, and it has a great nutrition value. I found this out one day feeding corals. I also happened to be in the fish store when the owner found out his supplier had a stock of picasso clown juveniles. I couldn't resist, I pulled the trigger on a pair and am going to put them in a 30 gal nano cube.

i think percs have a really cool personality. mine, come dinner time when it sees the shot glass sitting on top of the tank, almost seems like it gets excited. it swims in circles and it looks like its wagging its tail. do you plan an anenome down the road for them?

I have a good relationship w/ my fish store owner from selling him frags for cheap store credit. He hooked me up for $100 for the pair. I have seen them on the web selling for $200 plus. They just came in from Chicago, and are beautiful. I would like to try my hand in breeding them eventually. When I can get a good pic of them I will post it.

That is a helluva good deal, that's why I had to ask what you paid.

The clownfish cost that much? Mine are an inch a piece and the store had a superbowl sale....I paid $9.99 a piece! I might've been lied to if they're true or not? I dunno how much they were regular price. I want to get an anenome down the road If I keep the tank......

Walked in from work today to my living room practically flooded. That Damn protein skimmer disconnected off the pump again and shot water everywhere. Damage is pretty bad...I have to file an insurance claim tomorrow. My wood floors are soaked. I am so Angry!!!! words can't describe how I feel.
New Setup in progress. 75 Gallon reef.....still trying to figure out what I need. Your help is much appreciated.

That's a really good price for true percs, my local store sells those for $40-50 a pair.

That sucks Chicago, sorry about your floor. If it makes you feel better I was reading a build thread the other night and the guy had a nice 240 gal. full of corals, expensive fish, you name it. Anyways he had a disaster happen at night b/c of a mishap he didn't go into detail, and pumped his entire hot wtr htr water through his tank along w/ hundreds of gallons of tap water after that. He awoke to 3 in. of water in his basement and almost everything in his tank was whiped out.

call aquaC, something just ain't right here, that's the second time this has happened to you, I've never had issues with mine nor have I heard of others having that issue, in the mean time, go to a hardware store or something similar and get some plastic hose clamps and rambo the the thing down tight. but check with aquaC, something just ain't right
    Tanks,

Hey guys i've been MIA....I had to take down my tank due to the damaged floors. I highly doubt i'll set it up again. That damn faulty protein skimmer caused about $12,000 in damage. I'm still cleaning up and dealing with the mess. I don't wish this on anyone. I hope everyone else is doing well with their tanks. Wow I wasted so much money, and then this .....I'll try to not think about it anymore.

I hope you try again, maybe with a different skimmer. If you don't I wish you the best of luck.
