Just noticed my decorator removed a Green Stripe Mushroom and walked it around for bit and now it's laying on the sand. Question is do I just place it on live rock or will it walk over to it? Or glue it to a frag?

I don't think you should try to glue a mushroom. You have to let them attach to the live rock on their own.
So the decorator crab pried the mushroom loose? I have seen pics of them with small anemones, so I guess they're capable of doing something like that.
If you have a decorator crab, I'm sure you're prepared to let them do their thing, right?

I had a cluster of the mushrooms of about 6 now there is only 3. He still has one on his head, one I can't find and now this one that I've found on the sand. It looks like he cut it right at the base, looks like no damage done. I don't have any corals that are special to me, the polyps and mushrooms I have were already on the rock. So if damages them I'm not to worried yet. Hoping the crab will spread some of these through out the aquarium
I had a decorator crab,it was orange, named it Arnie after Arnold Schwarzenegger. At the time I had a 125 FOWLR tank,so he couldn't be destructive. If you are planning to spend good money for corals I would suggest taking him back to the lfs and getting store credit for him if possible,if not enjoy they can be fun to watch.
