Hi guys, wondering if anyone knew what a finger starfish is . my lfs guy says he has bought 2 of them for me and would be a great addition to my reef setup.Are they reef safe ? If so i need all the info I can lay my hands on. Thanks

i cant find live ones but they sell lots of them as decorations fo r homes
I would find out what their Latin name is and then research,if your LFS can't give you their real name I would not buy them.They might not be reef safe.
Sounds like they are talking about a Lankia Species.
The blue are very common in the trade, and IMO, should not be sold. They are very sensitive to acclimation, and water changes. I personally have had little success with them, and no longer try and keep them.

I swim with them, eat them, catch them, care for them, but never get tired of "them"....
