    Exploding Mushroom

    Hey guys and gals,

Got a mystery for you today. Yesterday one of my red mushrooms was perfectly normal, then a couple hours later I looked at it and it was nothing but stringy goo. The strands are now either distributed around the tank or still hanging on to the remainder of the base. The shroom was about the size of a quarter. Is this a way for them to reproduce?

    It sounds like it's dead.

Well it was towards the center of the tank, and near others.
