Clowfish and dottyback
My bicolor psudeochromis and gold stripe maroon are fighting, i am worried about them, They are the only two fish in my 25 gallon reef and the dotty back is constantly picking on the clown. They have only been together for about a day and already the clowns fins are kind of tattered. Is there anything i should do? Will they get better in time? Or should i take the clown back to the LFS?

i think youre best bet is to seperate them with a plexiglass partition.this will allow the psuedochromis to get used to the presence of the clown without being able to attack him.not to mention give the clown time to adjust before having to deal with the psuedochromis.hth

I would recommend just waiting a couple more days or so. I've seen fish do that b4 and they just like get use to eachother...HTH...
BTW, If things don't improve I would second seperation somehow...
