Toadstool leather acting oddly

I recently got a new toadstool leather. Lately its been getting up to 4 inches tall during the day but after i moved it in the tank it hasn't gotten larger than an inch tall or so.

Is this normal or is it sick????

I don't believe there is anything wrong with your coral. Perhaps it is simpky acclimating to the new location(different light/water flow, etc.).
Is it still showing polyps or is it covered with a waxy-like substance (mucous coat)?
Sarcophyton sp. corals shedd mucous coats frequently in aquariums, during those times they do not expand as much and look often quite "dead". It should bounce back soon enough.

Also, when posting questions like yours it would be very helpful if you'd post more about your aquarium:
lighting type, water parameters and such.
