    Curing Live Rock

Ok guys and gals another question,

I've always bought my live rock pre-cured from a LFS, but I'm buying some Bali Helio Live from Reef Hot Spot so I'll need to cure it. I've heard a few things how to do it and want to authorize a few of them.

    1. You can use conditioned tap water instead of RO water?

    2. You can have a low Salt level?

    3. You need the rock not to touch/stacked each other?

I forgot the other one but any help would be helpful.

Here, read this little article, it'll answer a bunch of your questions, and I will back up the articles comment of pure freshwater, DO NOT EVER USE tapwater in a reef or any fishtank for that matter, the stuff is barely fit for human consumption

    Hey Parrot,

Do I have to have a skimmer on the curing tub? Or could I just do 50% water changes?

if you got an extra skimmer laying around, that would be a big plus and might speed up the curing time a bit, if you don't lots of ro/di water and salt on hand will do the trick
    Tanks,
